About Insomnia Gaming Festival

Insomnia Gaming Festival is a gamin event in the UK organised by Multiplay (a subsidiary of Game Digital, the UK high-street game store). It has now been running for nearly 2 full decades and runs a rather unique, Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) format alongside standard LAN games. With standard exhibitions, gaming tournaments, visits from content creators and live-streamers with dedicated areas for all, Insomnia is truly an event for enthusiasts and pros alike.

About Insomnia58 and League Fest

The event this year will take place in a dedicated hall with over 6500 sqm of space to hold League Fest for the masses. The event will take place this year at the Birmingham NEC on the 26th-29th August. The 4 day event will feature live gaming tournaments, with a viewing party for people to watch the LCS summer split finals. The event will also include interviews with former pro players and cosplay competitions, with the opportunity to see interviews with special guests. Other activites regarding League Fest specifically are to be announced in the coming weeks.

Craig Fletcher, the CEO and Founder of Multiplay had this to say on the event:

“I’m expecting more than ten thousand champions to beat a path to Insomnia this August, swelling our overall attendance to more than 100,000 at the NEC. League fans have always been a huge part of Insomnia, from the prize tournament to the evening events. This year we’re raising the bar to stage one of Europe’s largest celebrations of the world’s most played video game.”

Tickets are available online now with prices starting at £30 for Insomnia58. If you fancy a weekend full of non-stop gaming and League action then get your tickets here while you still can.
