Activision Blizzard has announced that it will be teaming up with Facebook to provide live streams of the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Anaheim Open on the social media platform. It is expected to debut the live streams alongside new types of content with some fantastic new features as well.

Continuing work with and one of the channels hosts, former esports athlete and esports personality Chris Puckett, Activision Blizzard will be up-to-the-minute updates, scores and information as and when it happens. As stated this is all set to debut during the Anaheim Open, however it is with a view to continue to stream and produce regular content for the Facebook page. This content is expected to be broadcast world wide.

This continues to be an exciting time for esports as it looks to enter the mainstream media through any means possible. Dan Reed, Head of Global Sports Partnerships for Facebook said:

The Anaheim Open and start of the new live-streaming service is due to kick off on June 10th.
