Top European and North American Teams compete with each other in the debut season of eSports Championship Series – Counter-Strike.


The Esports Championship Series, the revolutionary new esports initiative by FACEIT and Twitch, has revealed the powerhouse lineup of professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams that will participate in the debut season of the Esports Championship Series (ECS) – Counter-Strike league. Matches began, April 10, and is shown exclusively on FACEIT’s official Twitch channel –

ECS – Counter-Strike is the flagship league of the Esports Championship Series and is the first professional esports league to offer teams co-ownership, like many traditional professional sports leagues. ECS – Counter-Strike will consist of 20 teams (10 from North America and 10 from Europe) with US$3.5M in payout for prize money and financial support.


Esports fans can find all things ECS on its new website,, which launched on April 11. On the website, fans can have access to the league’s schedule, more information on the teams, current standings and match scores, along with ECS match replays.
